This year the Club is going to partake in two (2) Community Service Projects. They are Pennies for Puppies and The Burlington Animal Shelter. You can bring items/change to meetings or events or we can make other arrangements. Below is what they are about:
Pennies for Puppies:
Through the Seeing Eye. Each club/organization collects "pennies" to be donated to the Seeing Eye exclusively for the Puppy Raising project. The Club Officers will maintain a jar for change which will be kept by Linda B. until the end of the Club's fiscal year (which is September). At that time, we will write a check to the Pennies for Puppies project. The kids can set a GOAL for the amount of donation they want to make. They will have to come up with ideas on where to get the change. They can do chores and the allowance can be donated, anything within the Club, etc. SE does not want any business solicitation. We think this project will be alot of fun and educational. The SE will send literature to the Club and when all is said and done, the Club will get to "NAME" a puppy! The Club will be sent a framed Puppy Sponsorship Certificate as well. If you have any questions, please contact Linda B.

Burlington County Animal Shelter:

All items (NEW OR USED) can be given to Linda B. Club Officers will deliver the package before the holiday.

Here is a list of some items that are needed:

Dog food (canned/dry), cat food (canned/dry), treats, toys, cat litter, bleach, hand soap, hand sanitizer, dog/cat carriers, leashes, collars (all sizes and types), blankets/sheets/towels (Fall/Winter), cleaning supplies, laundry detergent (high effeciency), fabric softener sheets, stainless steel dog or cat bowls.
